Our Mission

FREE LUNCH 2025-2026

A CEP Grant was awarded to our school system, securing another year of FREE breakfast and lunch for all students. NO paperwork required! If you would like to purchase extras, you may still apply money to your student’s account through My School Bucks.

We exist not only to prepare lunch, but to prepare students to make good choices. Making good choices that will lead to lifelong health and well-being.

The Child Nutrition Program has three main goals:

  1. provide healthy options that allow students to practice nutritious eating,
  2. make them student-friendly options that everyone will enjoy, and
  3. make it affordable to all families.

Starting September 2025, all Chilton County students will receive Domino’s pizza once a month as part of the school menu. 

Domino’s Smart Slice pizza is built specifically to the needs of your school and can meet all USDA guidelines. It can be made with ingredients like 100% real lite mozzarella cheese, reduced fat pepperoni, and dough that’s rich in whole grain.

Forms and Documents

The Chilton County Child Nutrition Program will offer 3 ways to deposit money in your child's account:

  • Option 1: Online

Pay online using myschoolbucks.com. A transaction fee will be applied from My School Bucks.

  • Option 2: Check

Make checks payable to (School Name) Cafeteria. The student will give the check to his/her teacher in elementary school, or the cashier at the middle and high schools. Please put the child's name in the memo section to ensure the right account is credited. For all returned checks, a fee will be applied.

Option 3: Cash

Put cash in an envelope marked with the child's name, grade, and amount.

 

To set up an account with our new online payment system, visit My Schoolbucks.  You can also use this website to monitor your student's account to maintain a positive balance and see their purchases. It's Free and Simple to use for viewing, however, there is a transaction fee charged by myschoolbucks for payments.  If you have questions, please call 205-280-2992.
