Principal: Dr. Meghan Owens

Assistant Principal: Mrs. Tracy Johns

Jemison Elementary School has over 700 students. They are helped by 96 teachers and staff. Our school wants to help students be curious, creative, and love to learn. We do this with special programs. These programs include STEM, Library, and Art.

Our students and staff recently celebrated Red Ribbon Week. It ended with a fun event called Monster Mash. This event helped students feel good about school and make good choices.

We are also happy to share that some of our staff are in the HOPE Academy program. We are in Year 2 of the program. This year, we are focusing on our core values. We are deciding what we believe in as a school and how we can make a good learning place for every student.

Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is also starting again. We are excited to have new leaders who care about Jemison Elementary and want to help! The PTO wants to make the school and community closer. They will help with events, projects, and student activities this year. If you want to help or join our events, please contact us. We would love your help.

As we start November, our school is thinking about thankfulness. We are also looking at ways to help our community. We want families and people in the community to join us. You can give food or snacks for our students. You can bring them to the Jemison Elementary front office. You can also drop them off at the Jemison Middle School food collection site.

At Jemison Elementary, we believe in learning, caring, and growing together, one student at a time.
